Each of my 10 upcoming books promises a journey through time, exploring the lives, struggles, triumphs, and legacies of those who shaped the landscape of Quebec and its surrounding regions.

Decades ago, I embarked on a monumental task—chronicling the lives of my parents, Albert and Alma Fraser, and their ancestors from Scotland and England to Quebec in the early to mid-1800s. I couldn't have done it without the help of my friends, neighbours and siblings’ memorabilia, support, commentary and editing!

As a historian and author, I'm often presented with a shoebox brimming with old photos during my research interviews. Sorting through these snapshots of the past is like uncovering hidden treasures, and I've developed a systematic approach to make meaning of them.
